This weekend, we have a 12-fight card in Sweden. It was a 13-fight card, but we only had Oezdemir/Latifi drop off, so be sure they aren’t in your lineups. DraftKings has some solid competitions for us to acquire a lot of cash from this week. The most important GPP is a $15 buy-in and $25k belongs to 1st place with a total of 100k being paid out. They also have a brand new Qualifier only contest for $175,000. There’ll be 100 qualifiers for that competition and they’ll compete for a $50k first location cost and $175k will probably be spread out between all 100 entries that match. I will try to get my seat this week. Those Qualifier only competitions can be real bankroll suckers, so be cautious chasing those overly hard. I’ll probably stick to the very best GPP this week and throw a small number of entries at that $25k decoration, and then I am going to take a few shots in the Q. I will also be posting H2Hs as well as picking up H2Hs throughout the week to get a good quantity of play into cash games.
With that said, let’s get to a few plays I like this week Together with my fade of this week:
Cash Game play of this week — Alexander Gustafsson — $9,300
Gus is my confident pick of this card this week and he is also the largest betting favorite on the card. I think we could stack this principal event in cash games and use both Gus and Anthony Smith, but I am not sure whether I’ll do this or not. I’ll for sure have Gustafsson within my cash lineup though and he’s who I’m starting that lineup with. With 5-rounds to use I think he’s the maximum ceiling about the card and I think he gets a finish in this fight. Perhaps with numerous takedowns. He’ll be extremely popular in GPPs so if you want to escape from him I believe the tournaments are the areas for that. I will be locking him into my money lineup though .
GPP drama of this week — Tonya Evinger — $8,600
On DraftKings, I enjoy Evinger in her struggle and that I have zero interest in Lansberg. Evinger’s best path to victory is penalizing Lansberg on the ground and that scores tremendously if she can accomplish that. In addition, I believe she could get a finish. I believe she is in play in all formats and I really do think she’s 100+ upside here and that’s the reason she’s my GPP drama of this week. There are not many UFC matchups I would say that for using Evinger at this stage in her career, but this one seems perfect for her. I believe she dominates this fight and ends it with ground in pound in around 2 or 1. If that’s true, she should score well and possibly win a person $25k.
Underdog drama of the week — Devin Clark — $7,500
I feel forced to play with Devin Clark this week since he’s only $7.5k but he is the current gaming favorite. I really like that type of value on DraftKings and that is what’s forcing me to roll up him. We have to include”underdogs” in our DK lineups and when we could get a favored, or even a roster with 6 favorites, which helps our likelihood of hitting all 6 conflicts and taking down a GPP. Clark ought to be hot this week as well because of this value, therefore I think he is in play as a money game block and if you would like, but in GPPs you’ll need to get him more than 33% of your lineups to get any leverage over the area.
Fade of the week — Duda Santana $8,600
Duda Santana is an easy fade for me . She’s $8.6k however she’s the underdog about the betting line. She is also +365 to win ITD. If I’m paying that cost on DK I need higher finishing upside or somebody who will be going for a great deal of takedowns. I don’t see her having much of a ceiling in this fight even though she does win so that I don’t see her being on the 25k lineup. That’s the reason I will be full disappearing Santana this week. If I was making 150 lineups then I’d include her in the mix, but I would need 50 lineups until I even contemplated using her.
